Due to falling oil prices, All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Japan Airlines (JAL) will pass on the savings by reducing the fuel surcharge on international flights.
Both airlines has previously raised airfares 10 percent back in October to counter surging fuel costs and ANA at least had plans to raise their fuel surcharge by 5,000 yen for some international routes for the October-December period.
Since summer though, the price of crude oil has fallen by over 10,000 yen per barrel.
