If you are a curry rice lover like me, then the Yokosuka Curry Festival is a must see and do.
The event held at various times throughout the year features curry dishes from all over Japan, old naval port Yoishi gourmet booths, the popular Navy curry buffet, musical performances by the Maritime Self Defense Forces Band, and a wide variety of shows.
The autumn festival runs until November 16 From 10:00-15:30 at Mikasa Park in Yokosuka-shi. Yokosuka-Chuo Station on the Keihin Kyuko Line is around a 15-minute walk from the park.
